Seasons

TexSEF offers completely free seasons throughout the school year for Texas schools. Our seasons provide an opportunity for students to hone their in-game skills, create content around their team, and take up leadership and management roles to help organize and coordinate their fellow students.

Texas High School Esports State Championship, April 29, 2023

Following the UIL Robotics model, TexSEF will be inviting the top teams from around Texas to compete in the first ever Texas State Esports Championship tournament at the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Super Smash Bros.

Super Smash Bros. is a Japanese series of crossover fighting video games published by Nintendo, and primarily features characters from various Nintendo franchises. The series was created by Masahiro Sakurai, who has directed every game in the series.

Rocket League

Rocket League

3v3

Rocket League is a vehicular soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix. The game was first released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 in July 2015, with ports for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch being released later on.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

  • 1v1, Nintendo Switch only

  • Default match time is 5pm CST on Thursdays.

  • Because Smash is played solo, if students can communicate with their opponent and schedule a different time during the same week if needed.

  • All scores must be inputted by Saturdays at 11:59pm.

  • Unlimited students per school

  • Rulebook (it's long, students must do connection test)

  • 3v3, PC/Console Cross-platform play (epic account linked to console account required for cross-platform play)
